Investor introductions, venture dealflow, project sourcing and fundraising readiness.

On this page

Lumen Capital connects well-prepared projects with relevant investors and funds. It is a relationship and readiness direction - not a fund, a brokerage or a promise of financing.

What Capital covers

For projects

Investor introductions

Context-first introductions to investors whose mandate, stage and sector focus are relevant to the project.

For investors

Venture dealflow

Access to projects that have been reviewed for context, readiness and relevance to the investor's thesis.

Sourcing

Project sourcing

Targeted support in identifying projects that match a specific investment mandate or strategic interest.

Readiness

Fundraising readiness

A practical review of the narrative, materials and data room before conversations with investors begin.

A two-sided model

Lumen Capital works because both sides receive something valuable: projects get access to relevant capital conversations, and investors get context-rich dealflow rather than an unfiltered pipeline.

What readiness means

Lumen's work with capital is not only about making introductions. A strong introduction depends on the project being ready to have a productive conversation. We typically look at:

  • A clear narrative. What the project does, why it matters and why now.
  • Traction or evidence. Product progress, users, revenue, partnerships or another credible signal.
  • A defined ask. The amount, instrument, use of funds and expected milestones.
  • A coherent data room. Materials that allow an investor to evaluate the opportunity efficiently.
  • Realistic expectations. A valuation and timeline that make sense for the stage and market.

Where these elements are not yet in place, the more useful first step may be Lumen Accelerate.

How the process works

  1. Initial context. The project or investor shares the relevant background, mandate and objectives.

  2. Readiness review. Lumen assesses whether the context is sufficiently developed for a capital conversation and identifies gaps.

  3. Relevance mapping. We review the network for investors or projects whose thesis, stage and geography align.

  4. Introduction and follow-through. With mutual agreement, we prepare and make the introduction, then support next steps where appropriate.

What Lumen Capital is not

  • It is not a fund and does not invest its own capital.
  • It is not a placement agent or a guarantee of fundraising.
  • It is not investment advice or a recommendation of any project, investor or instrument.
  • It is not a public deal platform with open listings.

Lumen does not guarantee funding, valuation, terms or timing. Investors and projects are responsible for their own due diligence, legal review and commercial decisions.
