Lumen is intentionally a work in progress. The network grows by deepening the quality of its relationships, expanding into relevant sectors and building the infrastructure that makes collaboration easier. This page describes the current focus and the direction of travel.
Current focus
Deepen the Web3 network
Strengthen the core network of founders, funds, protocols and operators in Web3, with a focus on infrastructure and applications that can reach real adoption.
Improve capital readiness
Make the path from project to investor more effective by raising the quality of context, materials and expectations before introductions are made.
Expand into AI and FinTech
Build relevant connections between Web3-native teams and the AI, FinTech and infrastructure companies shaping adjacent markets.
Grow the operator network
Develop a trusted group of builders and operators who can support portfolio projects and partner companies at critical stages.
Roadmap
The roadmap is directional. It describes the areas Lumen is working on, not a set of dated commitments.
Consolidate the core network
Sharpen the operating model, formalise how context and introductions are handled, and deepen the most relevant relationships in Web3.

What is not changing
Some things are not part of a roadmap because they are fundamental to how Lumen works:
- Relevance over volume. Growth will not come from accepting everyone into the network.
- Independence. Lumen will remain independent of any single fund, company or project.
- Confidentiality. Participants' context will continue to be handled with care.
- Long-term relationships. The network is built for relationships that develop over time.
- Clear boundaries. Lumen will continue to explain what it does and does not do.
